DVLA Licence Declaration Form

As part of our commitment to road safety and legal compliance, Pure Leasing, on behalf of your employer, is conducting routine Driving Licence Checks for all employees, managers, and directors who drive on company business – whether in a company vehicle or their own.

This process is essential to help protect your business, and you as a driver. It ensures that all individuals driving on company time hold a valid licence and have the correct entitlements – an important step, particularly for a business of your size and responsibility.

IMPORTANT: If you have been asked to complete a Licence Declaration Form and fail to do this, it could result in your company withdrawing their consent for you to drive on company business.

Licence checking is provided electronically through our software platform which is operated by Jaama so please ensure that you check your inbox and junk or spam mailboxes for the email address do_not_reply_edeclaration@Jaama.co.uk. Once you have completed your submission you will receive an email confirmation from edeclaration@jaama.co.uk with a summary of your licence details.

The process is as follows:

5 - 7 days you will receive instructions to complete the Licence Check from do_not_reply_edeclaration@Jaama.co.uk
Complete process which will not take any more than 5-minutes & have your Driving Licence to hand.

Section 4: Fair Processing Details

The information you provide is used in the provision of our Driver Licence Entitlement Checking service. We use the information we collect from you to carry out an automatic check of your Driving Licence with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (“DVLA”) on behalf of your employer. The information you provide will never be shared with any 3rd party not named in the electronic fair processing declaration that you are providing your agreement to. The declaration you are providing will be valid for a period of up to 3 years from the date you provide your declaration or until one of the following two conditions are true, whichever period is shorter:

You revoke the declaration you have given
You cease to drive in connection with the company or companies named in the electronic fair processing declaration.

Your information is retained for the minimum period required of us by Law and by the DVLA, whichever is greater. This period is currently 7 years (current year plus 6) from the date you provide declaration. This includes photocopies, fax copies, scanned copies or Data Protection Declaration if used. Your declaration and the information we hold about you in conjunction with this service is stored in a secure encrypted format at all times within our secure data processing facilities within the UK.
